The information contained in campaign finance reports and campaign registration statements may not be used for soliciting contributions from individuals identified in those documents or for any commercial purpose.  Ss.11.21(5), 11.22(8), Wis. Stats.  A violation of these provisions is punishable by a civil forfeiture of $10 for each person who is solicited, not to exceed $1,000. S.11.60(1),(3g), Wis. Stats.  An intentional violation is punishable by a fine of not more than $1,000, imprisonment of not more than 6 months, or both. S.11.61(1)(c), Wisc. Stats.
